I need some advice on offering a WSO that would teach people how to get the absolute lowest auto insurance rates available to them. This isn't a sexy topic but being an insurance agency owner I can tell you when clients walk out of our office with a premium that is $600, $700, or more, less per year than what they were paying, it becomes a warm fuzzy topic.

I am thinking of doing it to raise a few bucks for my Nevada non-profit. The website is:

Senior Citizens' Help And Resources

We get calls from seniors for help with food, rent, finding jobs, getting medical care and a lot more. Since our staff consists only of me and my wife, we are limited. However, w/a few bucks in the treasury our options expand.

Regardless of the why behind my motive the question is simple. Will people pay $5 for an ebook that will show them every trick in the book to get their auto insurance lowered by 30% or more?

I picked $5 because that seems fair to me. Also, people who otherwise wouldn't buy it might just spend the five bucks. I have enough posts to be able to pm and receive a pm so anyone wishing to contact me, feel free.

BTW, if you visit our site, you will see we give away a free caregiver manual. If statistics are correct, almost everyone who is 65 or over today will need a caregiver sometime in the next 10 years.

If my idea is worth a hoot, and it generates enough money, I might channel the bucks into a free online caregiver course. Again, not a sexy topic but one all of us have the very real possibility of needing.

Thank you to everyone upfront.

In this day and age, I would pay $5 if it helped me save money. So to answer your question, yes. It would be worth it.

    I agree.
    people will pay the $5
BUT - you are going to have to make sure that your offer is seen by the right people...
try solo e mails in a targeted ezine or something like that

    good luck with it.

I would charge a lot more. Something like 27$ or 37$.
If you will guarantee them to save more than 100-200$ than they should buy but the price must not be too low.
    Cheap usually means poor content.

Judging by the type of calls you are receiving, are these people willing to pay for such information? The impression I have is they don't have a lot of disposable income, and you would probably have to make a good case for them to buy it. And how do you plan to distribute it?

You are talking about doing a WSO, so I did a quick check there and didn't see anything selling there about your topic.

Instead of a WSO, you might take a look and see if your information would be a good fit for clickbank. If it turned out to be a marketable product, you could have other people doing the selling and let Clickbank take care of the distribution and funds. I would guess you might need to raise the price enough to get people there interested enough to do the affiliate sales.

Another thought would be to sell your ebook in a physical format to other insurance agencies to give out or sell to their clients. You might even sell it with their agency logo on it for an additional fee.

It sounds like a worthwhile endeavor, and I wish you the best with it!

Charging a little more and setting it up in an affiliate program like clickbank is an excellent idea. The are other reputable affiliate programs you may want to explore as well. Everyone is looking to save money, especially on insurance. It's not a sexy niche but it can definitely be a profitable one.

Not sure that a WSO is your best target audience as we are all about internet marketing.

Suggest launching it as a clickbank product... and even selling a physical report for $20.00 or more.

        Good luck.

Hmmm, I'm wondering if because you've been reading on Warrior Forum for an extended time you said WSO when you meant ebook. I've done that before. haha.

If that's the case, yes, I think you might have a winner there. Just get it in front of the right people!
