    I'd love to say that I go through this, but I haven't seen a sale yet. So I'm still waiting for the first moment. <pout>

    In the beginning I experienced the same anxiety.

    Try visualizing what you do want: increased sales, etc, for 10 - 20 minutes a day. Whatever you imagine comes about. Right now you're entirely dependent on circumstances for your happiness, but outside conditions are always in a state of flux.

    The one aspect of life you can make fairly constant is your mental state because you have the power to choose your thoughts. Choose to picture what you want and you will feel less anxious because you gain an inner knowing that increased sales are on the way.

    Also, train yourself to accept the idea that each act is a seed planted. You might not reap the crop each day but eventually your bounty will be immense for each planted seed that's properly nurtured grows accordingly.

    I think its normal to feel anxious... Just a day or two ago it seemed like this internet marketing thing was working great and now... no sales... But the reality is that things fluctuate... and testing is key.. Why is it that you didn't get sales in the last couple days? (always could have just been the holidays) Try to figure out what you did right before so that you can begin to control the sales rather than be controlled by them. Also it's not "too good to be true" but it does require hard work... although I don't think this is the case with you... methods die out... they work for a little while and then they don't.. or they require tweaking.... just remember.. stick with it and don't put all your eggs in one basket and you'll do just fine in the long run...

    I went from making 7-8 sales per day on a $197 product to making none over Christmas. Finally warming back up today. Maybe just the holidays?

        It's definitely related to the Holidays.

        We ran a webinar the 22rd, did around 40k in sales. I expected the replay to on the 23rd to do the same as it normally does. Replay completely bombed.

        Affiliate sales are also low than normal on my other promotions.

        I think after the 1st, sales are going to be wicked crazy after everyone gets their paychecks to pad their bank accounts after the holiday expenses.

    This happened to me all the time when I had my first successful site. I'd drive myself insane. Pause campaigns.. change copy.. change PPC bids.. make sure my hops were tracking.

    In fact, at one point the person I was promoting actually embedded THEIR OWN hoplink on the main sales page and was stealing sales from me. I guess that's why I get anxious whenever this happens. I'd get a normal amount one day, a lot another, and then nothing for days at a time, and I'd drive myself insane looking for the "problem".

    Just remember the "law of averages" says things will even out eventually, so try not to drive yourself crazy =)

    I'm launching my first site since I shut my last success down (due to constant Google slapping), so I'm hoping I can avoid this happening again!

    Is it your own product or an affiliate offer?

    Your own offer will go through peaks & throughs and different affiliates promote, a big mailing will generate a lot of sales vs someone who consistantly promotes by integration marketing or a paid traffic source.

    If it's an affiliate offer then make sure that the owner hasn't done something that's knackered your affiliate link - it can and does happen.

    Overall just keep on plugging away, this sort of business is very cyclical.

    And frankly, it sucks.

    Unfortunately, you can't control your sales. But, if something is going wrong, you can do something to improve your sites, products..etc.

    Just relax and keep doing all the things you've done so far. Getting anxious or nervous won't help you. Being all the time in self control certainly WILL.
