I am sure you guys have gotten this 1000x now, but I am too excited and need to find out.

As of right now my Amazon account is showing 4 sales, BUT there is no dollar amount. Do they add the dollar amount once the item is "shipped" or when does the dollar amount show?

Happy Holidays

    First of all, congrats!

Yes, they do add the dollar amount once the item is shipped.

Only been at this for 21 days and I am pumped. Hoping the improvements, that I am adding to my site, will increase the sales.

Also, I asked this in another thread and was always wondering how much traffic people had before they started getting sales. So to help others out, wondering the same thing, I got my first sale with 20 Unique visitors a day.

    2011 here I come.

20 unique visitors a day!! That's awesome so soon... what have you done to market your site? My website is one month old today but no sales just yet. I have been doing article marketing so far and have had some traffic trickling in but not much and no sales.

      Congratulations!

I have done little to no marketing so far. Currently I am working on unique content with the help of some article writers from Warrior Forums. I went with a keyword rich domain and always make sure my sitemap is updated with the search engines.

On site, I have been concentrating on increasing conversions. Really looking at examples here on the forums and mimicking things that I feel would increase conversions. Also sitting back and looking at my site as a user and not a site admin. Personally I would love to have a HIGH conversion rate rather than a really low one and a ton of traffic.

Hopefully my thinking is right and I can make this work over and over again.

          Gewdo, that is very coooooooooooooooool!
It is very incouraging to me personally as I am a week or two away from launching my own website and someone like you is posting such great results.
Hope it only goes up from here, keep up informed

That's awesome to hear! As far as how much traffic before seeing sales... it depends on several factors. But... you mentioned you went with a keyword rich domain, so it sounds like you're targeting a specific product. You'll notice that when you get that narrowed down, you don't have to have tons of traffic to start rolling in sales.

I've got one new site that's targeted down like that... it just started averaging 20 visitors a day the last 2 months or so... but it's been already averaging around $20+ dollars a day and sales are growing faster than the traffic.
