Redirect an entire blog?

Hello,

I have a WP Blog set up in a sub folder. I think that is what you call it. Like this:

www.MyDomain.com/Forum

I want to delete the blog and redirect the entire WP Blog TRAFFIC to the main site
www.MyDomain.com. I'm thinking a 301 redirect? But not exactly sure how to do it. I tried doing a 301 redirect in the CPanel, but it doesn't seem to work.

What is the best way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Seb

I explained poorly. I should have said I want to delete the blog and redirect the entire WP Blog TRAFFIC to the main site www.MyDomain.com.

    Sorry

If you just want the traffic as a whole to go to the domain, you can do a custom 404 page and on that page do a javascript redirect to the new page. That way, anyone who lands on a missing page will be sent to the new location. On the 404 page you can put some info telling them they are being taken to the new page.

Also, you can do this using an .htaccess file but may have to experiment a little. Plus, it has to be an apache server.

Read these and see if they pertain you your situation.
