CB purchase URL question

Hi Warriors,

A thread that was very active regarding Click B a nk sales page 'leaks' got me thinking actually and also got me very confused as CB is not my forte, still I would like to know the answer if anyone has it, please.

The back story *insert drum roll* :p

I followed my link to a vendor's site. I then clicked to leave and got the 'don't go' free-offer pop-up. I signed up. All the while my hop link is still showing.

I click off the page and go to my email to find the welcome letter.

Clicked back through to the vendor's website and then clicked 'buy now' to see if I could spot part of my code.

Obviously I was not looking for a Hop link but something that would link me to a sale... now I'm stuck with a mighty long URL.

I have earned a little through CB before but really never paid attention. But now I am

Bottom line

How do I check I'm getting the sale registered as opposed to the vendor getting total sale?

I would be most grateful for any response because I've looked through quite a few CD threads tonight and I'm now utterly confused.

    I'm almost embarressed by my own stupidity. You know I've done this a few times now - post a question and then find the answer almost immediately (after wondering about it for a few hours)

    The answer to my own question is: my aff link is at the bottom of the check out page.

    Can I get a 'DUH' I'll say it so no one else has to. :p

    *hangs head* I'm going to get a glass of wine and rock bath and forth in the corner - okay?
