What's the Correlation Between Avg CPC and Money You Earn Per Click?

Using the Google AdWords Keyword Tool ( https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeti...AS#search.none ), how much money does the average CPC correlate to? What percentage of each click do you get might be what I'm asking.

If a keyword's CPC is $7.00 and you get an ad click, you will make $x of the $7.00.

Fill in the x. Will I be getting $3.50 for each click or what?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

Your cost per click has nothing to do with your conversion rate...that is all determined by the effectiveness of your advertising

CPC is what the advertiser pays Google. According to here (How Does Adsense Work? Adsense for Newbies | Webupon) you get about 68% of that figure. I actually thought it was much lower than that, though.

I assume you're running adsense ads on your blog or website. Well, cpc is the cost that advertisers pay to google for those ads. yeah, you get a cut off that cpc but noone knows howmuch. i don't remember google officially disclosing the exact percentage of advertiser's cpc that publishrs get.

68%? That was the number I was looking for. Great, thanks! Almost $5 per click made!

Someone had dug up figures from some google blog entry indicating adsense earned a bit over 50%.

    You can't rely on that.

On my first nitch site, the Google tool 'Estimated Avg. CPC' is $1.87 but I only get $.05-$.10 per click...

The people that pay $1.87 per click generally stick to search results. Since the eCPA on contextual ads is generally really low.
