I don't know whether the site comlov.com is hurting the backlink world or if its just helping people gain massive backlinks...but I need you guys opinion on this one.

For people who know nothing about the site..It has an plugin where you can add to your blog comment area and when some one leave an comment..then it pretty much reward you with an backlink.

Here's the problem..
Years ago wordpress made their default setting to no follow..meaning when you leave an comment..then that person couldn't spam the site just to get an backlink. This was an big problem back then..

Now since comlov love has came around..people are really trying to comment on sites that support the plugin to just an backlink.

My things is does Google really see these as a natural links or is it just another great plugin that that's allowing the average Joe to build massive backlinks at an easy rate..

What you guys think about this?

      Do you mean Comluv? (.com).

I can't see it being a wise move having that many
links at one site. Remember, Google can drop those links
at any time, and they could also decide to penalize sites
      that have been using them...

      Cheers,

Yes, hh66, exactly! Even if it does help you in the meantime, it behooves all of us to try and protect our sites from Google's potential future demerits. It's the golden rule of the Internet: if something seems to good to be true, IT IS!
