Can Affiliate Marketing be used to sell one of a kind products? If so how?

    Affiliate Marketing is selling other people's product for a commission or getting others to sell for you. Companies like Clickbank, CJ, Linkshare, etc.

    Why would "whether there are also others of the kind" necessarily affect how the affiliate marketing itself works?

    Well if they are truly one of a kind products then affiliate marketing is going to be a tad difficult. Unless you have copies of the one of a kind products. Unless I'm misunderstanding your question I don't know why you would think that an army of affiliates would all race out to promote a single quantity item.

    That would be a royal waste of time IMO... Again maybe I didn't understand what you were asking.

    One of a kind products can be highly lucrative and profitable if it's something that people really want and not being promoted by a flood of affiliates.

    But in Affiliate Marketing it's usually better to have more than one product you promote so that you'll be adding more value to your customer's lives by giving them more options to solve their problems and be making more money with the more products you promote.

    Sure you can have affiliates sell one of a kind products.

    1 owner trying to sell it verus 500 affiliates selling it?

    Big difference to sales there.
