Registering my 1st Domain....Do I have to input my real contact info & phone #???

So I have formulated the bare bones of my attack plan & I want to take the 1st step in my quest to conquer the interwebz. Decided to go with enom but it looks like they want my full contact info. Needless to say I dont feel comfortable about that. What is standard operating procedure for IM vets when registering a domain name? Thanks!

It is recommended that you do so, but it is also recommended that you get Whois Privacy for an extra couple of bucks.

I always use my real name and address. In the event of a problem you are going to have a helluva time sorting things out if you used fake names and addresses. If you sign up with Namecheap you get whois protection free for a year.

If you don't want to use the protection then go buy yourself a PO Box and use that as the address. The Whois protection is going to be far cheaper though.
