Critique my PLR offer please...

Warriors,

I am trying to take action on new things, and one of them is product creation and sales. To dip my toes into the water a bit, I put up a WSO of weight loss PLR. The offer is linked in my sig, and I was hoping that some of you would critique my offer.

Before I go any further, I have to stress that this is not an attempt to drive anyone to my offer to buy it. I just need honest feedback about what's right, what's wrong and what I should do different on the next go-around.

I am a big boy, so there's no need to worry about offending me. Let me know your honest opinion... I can take it.

I made this offer mostly to be doing something new, to get practice at offering products and, most of all, to finally have an excuse to try out E-Junkie.

Please take a look at the linked offer in my sig and give me your honest feedback.

I'm learning as I go here, but if I don't take action and ask for feedback, I'll never improve. Thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to offer some constructive feedback.

Steve

Ok, well personally, I don't think you need to say so much in the sales letter. Especially here in a WSO where anyone looking already knows what PLR will do for them.

Just state what ya got, what makes yours so great compared to everyone else, the price and what they need to do to buy them.

    The testimonials are good.

Some big buy buttons would be good.

Just an FYI - I've tried lots of PLR offers in the WSO forum and they don't sell that great - they fly off the front page too fast and most buyers here are interested in the more hypey systems and programs that are sold on there.

That's just my experience, yours may vary. But if you are asking for a critique because your WSO isn't going so well, that is probably why.

    Just my 2 cents

      Thanks Lee.

I really appreciate the helpful hints. You know... I went back and forth about whether to go long or not with the sales letter, and I agree with you about it being too long for the product that's being offered.

Ah, the buttons too... With this being my first go-around with e-Junkie, I couldn't get the buttons to show up right, so I opted for the links instead.

Thanks again for replying and offering your feedback. While I would have preferred more action on it (heck who doesn't want to make sales?), I am trying to use this as a learning experience and an excuse to take action on product creation offers.

I was always curious how well PLR does on the WSOs, so your input there is very helpful too.

      Thanks a bunch,
      Steve

    Agreed.

I'm not a big fan of the typical WF WSO sales page format. I don't sell WSO's so what do I know, they may sell really well. I just don't like 'em.

I prefer direct, to the point, bullet points of what it is, what it does and why I need it.

The flashy hype stuff works well on the n00bs but for the rest of us, just the facts. We know what we want and need. I don't want to read war and peace to figure out if I'm interested.

This is all I cared about on your page...

      Jason,

Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know your thoughts.

Shorter is definitely better for this type of product. Makes sense.

And I definitely agree on the button too.

I'm using this as my learning experience for product creation and offers, so the feedback is more valuable to me than sales at this point.

Thanks again, and thanks for the offer to use the button.

      Take care,
      Steve

You don't need lots of sales copy to move PLR. People like it short and simple. When I look at PLR offers, the things I care about most are:

    1.) What are the keywords/titles

2.) How long are the articles?

3.) How many licenses are available.

4.) The rights being sold are also important. With PLR articles, these are more-or-less the same across the board. Still a good thing to list.

These four things are the only things I really need to see, and honestly, the first three are most important (unless you are selling unusual rights).

Steve, two things stuck out for me...

First, although probably less important, was this line:

"not currently being used by anyone and yours for the taking."

Unless I'm the first and only buyer, there's no way you can prove that one.

    Second, your timing is off.

The time to be selling content people will be searching for around New Years would have been around Labor Day. By waiting until December, you've likely pared your market down to people who a) have existing sites and b) buy and use PLR for those sites.

Anyone buying it now should be thinking more about swimsuit season coming up, rather than New Years resolutions...
