Aren't you just sick of this....

dynamically generated search pages....

you know, the ones that pop up on google's first page when you search...

and when you land there, the results page either tells you there are no results for your query, or it displays a load of irrelevant results...

just now, i did a search fo a guest house in a specific small town...

two results on page one simply told me they didn't have any results for me...

SO WHAT WERE THEY DOING ON PAGE ONE?

what happened to google freaking out about quality content?

or is the 900 lbs gorilla not as smart as it presents itself to be?


and interestingly...

besides it being popular in the travel and real estate industry...

i also regularly get offered "results" on software download sites...

except that what i was looking for was not software...

you know...like getting "best skin cream download"

(not the phrase i used, but that is the type of results i have noted)

so...

i noted dow at the bottom of the google search results page...

there is a link for feedback...

i wonder if it would make a difference if many people started ranting every time they gave us crappy results?

after all, in spite of all their rules and regulations, they are keeping visitors away from REAL content...

and YOUR website...

by allowing crappy content... (or non-content...

i mean, how could "sorry, nothing found for..." land on the first page, and real content has to take a back seat?

they used to say content is king....

now i am not always so sure....
