Hi guys,
does anyone have a list of article directories that accept links in the text body? at least a top ten, not looking for thousands.

thanks in advance.

I don't know about a top 10 but the best one that does that gets good traffic is articlebase.com. I think goarticles does too but don't quote me on that!

Articles with live links in the article body are not always converting better than articles with a resource box, so keep that in mind.

If you're into links with anchor text you can still use Ezinearticles and you'll get a lot more traffic than Articlebase.

No, I disagree. In some cases, you can get more traffic with Ezinearticles, but from my experience some of my articles on Articlesbase ranked higher and got me more traffic than my articles on Ezines.

It all depends on the effectiveness of your keyword research and relevance of your article to the topic.

Also, beginners to article marketing may find that their articles will take longer to get approved on Ezinearticles at first (meaning no traffic since it's not published), whereas Articlesbase approves within several hours or less.

Can't say I agree. A few years ago, yes, Ezinearticles was producing more traffic then articlesbase but right now articlesbase is producing more traffic and ranking better then Ezinearticles.

Just do a google search and pick the top 20 article directories. Then, submit to them regardless of whether or not they accept links in the body or not. Linking in the body does not always work as well as you might think because it can make an article look spammy and like all it is there for is advertising.

would you recommend for eza beginners to publish few articles with no links at all? just to get some reputation then publish articles with links?

Thanks guys, really I want the seo value not so much the traffic, though any traffic is a great bonus.
