Monthly subscription fee - what are people willing to pay?

The title sums up my question quite well. I guess some of you earn money either from selling products via recurring payments or promote products that do.

What monthly fee is in the sweet spot for a minor service? My plan is not to provide a new get rich quick and easy scheme each month, simply just maintain and improve my existing service. Are there any values that would work better, or is this entirely dependant on the kind of service provided?

Or I could put it this way: If i could save you few hours of mind numbing repetitive work each month, what would you be willing to pay?

    If I sell you a service for $3.53/month, would you not be more likely to just stop and think about the price than the usual $14.99/month.

    Perhaps it's a personal bias for the recurring payments i'm used to, but the former is exceptionally low, and odd, where the latter is just regular monthly fee.

    As for the direct question: It saves you a few boring hours, what is your time worth?
