Question on Integrating 1SC and Aweber
I use 1ShoppingCart for selling and Aweber for list management. If someone opts in via one of my Aweber forms, they go on my mailing list/auto-responder. I have their permission to e-mail them.
But what if someone flat-out buys one of my products without ever "opting in" to be on a mailing list? What is the status of a paying customer who perhaps never sees an opt-in form? They still show up as a "contact" in 1SC, but if I send them broadcasts, would it be considered "spam"? If not, how do I integrate them into Aweber to add them to my list without asking them to give me their information AGAIN (since the have to give it when they use the shopping cart)?
