Is there a way to pay affiliates for opt-ins?

Hey guys,

Is there a script out there that allows you to pay people commissions for opt-ins? Does Rapid Action Profits or Digital Access Pass do this? If not, do you know one that does?

Thanks guys,

R

You set up a pixel to fire on the thank you page for confirming a optin. The cookie is given on the page of opt-in.

This can be achieved with programs like iDevAffiliate and HasOffers.

So you can actually build your own Pay Per Lead program without the hassle of getting set up with a CPA company?

That's awesome. I had no idea.

      Thanks,

Yeah, it is actually pretty simple. However do NOT be too quick to hire affiliates. You will need to go through each email and see how well the quality is of your subscribers. Fraud is inevitable and you need to aware of this.

I believe DLguard will allow you to do that but not sure, I could be wrong. Go check out their website and maybe you can let us know!

Actually, I believe she is asking for leads only. You will need tracking of the leads using unique affiliate cookies which DLguard cannot do.

Read the OP...he is asking if there is any kind of program that will pay affiliates commissions for people opting in. Again, not sure if DLguard will do that but its worth looking into.

I know, DLguard actually does not have a built in affiliate program last time I checked.

The OP is looking for the same thing a email submit does(or any other short form sub does).

Sure, just make an email submit offer, and put it on an affiliate network, and they can track all the information and you watch affiliate id's and make sure that the leads are backing out.

I'd like to keep it all in-house, if possible. No affiliate network...come on, guys, SOMEONE must know software that tracks this kind of thing...

Have you looked at amember? My friend's membership site runs it and you can set it so that it pays commission for free memberships, as well as a percentage of paid memberships,

    Russ,

DAP (DigitalAccessPass) does allow you to do this.

DAP lets you pay "Per Lead", "Per Sale Fixed" and "Per Sale Percentage".

    Hope this helps.

I've done this with a very low tech method.

It's not very scalable, but it works excellent.

    1. Set up specific landing page for X affiliate (yoursite.com/affiliatename or something)
    2. Pay him/her for all leads that come through that make it through a scrub list (quality check essentially).
    3. Pay them net-30 if possible to give yourself time to scrub the leads and check quality.

Edit: damn, that was my 1000th post.... at least it was helpful. haha.

  • Post Affiliate Pro lets you set up a pay per lead system for your affiliates. it's also an excellent affiliate program which gives just about every statistical report you will ever need.

You are exposing yourself to a big fraud liability.

I know several people have mentioned that you should check or audit the emails. But how exactly will you do that? It will be a manual, time-consuming process.

Is it possible to create a product with a very low price and pay 100% commission to your affiliate? That eliminates fraud (could lose a bit on refunds).

It also greatly increases the quality of your email list.

I'm not sure what you mean...

If you're using a service like Aweber, you can pay your affiliates only for verified email addresses so if the person doesn't confirm, they don't get paid. There's virtually no time consumption, except to go in an get the number of verified leads for which to pay your affiliate.

        Simple.
