Are You Going To Expand Or Maintain In 2011?

I've decided that this year I am going to focus more on maintaining the few activities that are providing the most income and focus less on expanding to new activities that may or may not generate income.

My thought is that this will help maximize the income I am able to earn through existing profitable internet marketing activities while minimizing expenses that would be incurred as a result of efforts spent on new activities.

How about you? Are you looking to try new possible income generating opportunities or stick to what works and that's it?

    I think i will be adding a few more sites during the year in a few more niches and also fine tuning existing site i guess like trying new advert layouts that type of thing,also carrying on with building backlinks although seen as boring jobs they have to be done on a ongoing basis other wise you start to slip down the rankings again.

      Agreed, and I think that one big reason so many fail is because they spend too much time trying to optimize lots of different sites/blogs/etc., and not enough time just getting one or two sites/blogs/etc. optimized.

      That's why I'm going to keep it simple this year.

    We are also taking a similar approach to the OP in 2011 by expanding into an area that is directly related to what we currently offer instead of venturing away from our main focus.
