How are you changing your business model for 2011?
This past year was really a turning point in my business. I have learned what I like to do and what I don't like to do. Some things have made me great money, but I hated doing them. Some things that I love to do (such as product creation and video) were put on the back burner to make money doing other things.
On Christmas Eve (my birthday no less), I started planning my business for 2011. I got laser focused and started deleting sites, cleaning out my desk and a number of other things to get myself ready for 2011. Instead of just "willy nilly" doing things, I want to have a plan for 2011.
I have several products under creation right now while I finish out work from 2010 that others have ordered. I will still do some services this year, but they will be higher priced and I will have less customers.
I am excited about 2011. What about the rest of you? What kinds of decisions have you made for your business this year? Have you cut things out that just weren't working for you?
