just set up my first hub page
How long does google take generally to rank a hub page and also a squido page which I am working on

  • Depends on how much work your going to put into it, what the keyword is, what content you put on it, did you make links?

    There's way to many variables to give a good answer.
  • well its bee up for about 2 minutes so no links yet
    I have researched the keywords and infact a hub page is at no1 for the keyphrase (i dont know if thats good or bad)

    What I am basically wondering is does google crawl hub pages on a regular basis
  • Without backlinking probably anywhere between 24-48hrs from my experience.

    I generally submit my hubs to IMautomator.com , then manually to stumbleupon, digg, and yahoo buzz. This usually gets them indexed faster and can sometimes throw some traffic your way as well.

    Speaking of traffic make sure you have google analytics set up for your hubpages so you know where your traffic is coming from.
  • Too many variables to give a honest answer here. If it is in a non-competitive niche you may see it by tomorrow. Otherwise it will take time, however, you can speed up the process with various SEO tactics.

      I am building a main site as well for the particular product i am dealing with
      The plan is to have 50 people a day visiting my main site by the end of the month

      How or where do I add analytics on hub pages
  • Depends on many things, such as keywords, competition, for example I created once squidoo lense got no backlinks but I was indexed the next day. Last week I created another lense with 5 backlinks and till this day I'm still not indexed.

    Not a bad site for something less than 24hrs old
