My Niche Membership Site - A Sincere Request For Advice
Hey Warriors! - My posts over the years have been some "help" requests and some "giving back" - this one's in the first category.
Short pretext:
I just recently launched my membership site, it's in the "public speaking" / "how to do seminars" niche, and that's one of my areas of strong expertise... I took my high-end $900 home study course and chopped it up into modules that are dripped out to members. The membership portion is only a month old but so far I have 6 members who came from my existing list of 700 people when I announced the membership side of my site.
My Request:
I would very much like to promote my membership site and I'm wondering if you could offer some useful advice on promoting this site - please note that over the many years I've been doing workshops and such it's quite maddening to note that there is no "ideal customer" in that they're all kinds of different people - professionals, business owners, sales people, solo-preneurs - from every industry you can think of... so given that it makes sense to go where my "target market" already congregates but also given that my "market" is truly fragmented, I just cannot figure out what a good strategy is on where on the internet to go to offer some value somewhere and expose my membership site... I mean, to be clear, yes I want to promote my site but I'm more than willing and able to give out free advice somewhere in the hopes someone will be interested in visiting my site... hope that's making sense! The point is, I'm asking if you can offer some good promotional advice because it seems I'm maybe "too close" to my situation and maybe you'll see something I'm missing!
