Keys to Success - Initiative and Persistence

I was in the process of writing another ebook and it occurred to me to open a new thread to see what other warriors think.

Initiative is the introductory act or step, the leading action you take in doing something. It is your personal level of responsibility in beginning a new path, action or product. Coupled with persistence, continuing without fail once you decide on a path of action, these two traits can make or break your business. High levels of initiative and persistence are needed to be successful, and if you possess both (or can get help from someone that does) your business has a very good chance of being successful. And yes, I know that you also need Creativity, Leverage and Scalability to get to making "real" money, but those are for future threads...

My question for this thread is: Given equal initiative and persistence, would you agree that persistence is more important to success with internet marketing?

    Although everything you mentioned is important in success, I agree that persistence is the key. No matter what endeavor to are taking on, whether in internet marketing or something else, persistence is what will eventually get you to where you want to be. You can't get anywhere if you are going to give up when the going gets tough. Obviously there is much more that goes into the equation, but you have to keep pressing on!

    Good question!

    Although I think both are extremely important, I'd have to say initiative is crucial.......

    If you don't take initiative you will have nothing to persist with.
