If you are in business for yourself and consider yourself a entrepreneur you must ask yourself this very important question everyday.

"How will you make your money today"!

Are you performing activities that do not make you money? Some people call it "busy work or wasting time". Or are you executing tasks that make you money.

In a service business these activities are what we consider billable hours. Like a pool cleaner...you'd better be cleaning pools not cleaning out the garage. Oh, and let's not forget to invoice and collect money.

If it's a product business, you must be selling and delivering product. Oh, and let's not forget to invoice and collect money.

In an MLM business, you must be performing the all important human resource tasks of recruiting & training. Notice you don't have to invoice or collect money

MLM, is one of the most unique and efficient business models known, but you must have a plan and know the steps that make you money...AND DO THEM.

Ask yourself these questions...

What is your plan?
Are you executing it?
Is it working?

Make sure that you're not wasting time trying to figure it all out. To be successful you must have a plan and execute it everyday.

Can you answer the question in the subject line? It should be set in stone.

    Yes, this is a good question and I think you made an excellent point - you must have a plan (written down is best) and you need to follow it every day. Too many internet marketers waste too much time (I know I did) trying out every new idea that came their way and never really completed any task or program. Make a plan, stick to it, work it every day and you will see results.

    I like this question because you are right. When I first started out in the internet marketing world I tended to check my emails alot and carry out mundane tasks.... which really could have waited while the more important tasks were carried out.

    A number of other Internet Marketers I have spoken to tell me that when alot doesnt happen in their business they tend to feel like giving up and trying something new. I think that eliminating the things that aren't helping you make money or learn new skills will help bring back the spark and make you believe you can succeed. I decided a while back to make a week plan and then plan the daily tasks so I stay focused which has brought me great success

    How can someone live with having to ask this question everyday?

    This is why I still work a job and do my online business at the same
    time so I know I have a paycheck and don't have to ask this question.

    Do I have a plan - YES - Am I executing it - YES - Is it working - YES.

    My brother works full-time online and always tells me he worries every
    morning when he wakes up cause he has to ask himself "Where is the
    money going to come from today".

    Ok, I guess I'm a different kind of person.

    I can't do physical work because of a bad back and can barely walk 100 yards without having to sit down and rest for 10 minutes.

    So I basically sit at home working online doing various different things from freelance security research, webdesign/development, graphics design, programming, and internet marketing. So yes, I'm working about 16-18 hours a day because, first off, I love what I do and it's the only way for me to earn a living.

    To this day my CB checks still surprise me sometimes when they come in. Most everything I do happens through paypal or 2Checkout so checking my mail box and seeing my CB check is always good times. LOL

    But I don't really ask that questions. I have a daily routine that I go through and life just moves along for me. Friday, Saturday, Wednesday? Doesn't really matter the day, it's all the same to me. Just another day that I do my work and I love doing it. Well Sunday and Monday are usually Football days but the season is almost over for that.

    Good question though.
