Help in Monetizing My Site

Hello everyone,

I have a couple of bass fishing websites that have been up since May of 2007 where one specializes in lake maps/hot spots in Florida and the other on bass fishing tips/techniques. I chose this niche because it's something I enjoy and do well in fishing local bass tournaments.

I have an eBay affiliate account using BANs, Google Adsense as well as a few CJ ads. I really am not doing too well averaging about $60 a month after paying out my hosting fees. I rank #1 for Florida Bass Fishing and starting to move up for "Bass Fishing" but I'm not converting my visits very well.

I need any/all suggestions on what else I can do to make more money in this niche including any other affiliate programs, strategies to convert my 200 visits a day, etc. If there are any good sites on the internet that can give me more ideas I would appreciate those as well.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated...Paul

either get your hits up to 2000 uniques a day, or find another new niche to promote...

To be honest, Bass Fishing is a cool niche, but it may be hard to monetize unless you drive major traffic to it...

It all comes down to traffic and conversion rates...

My best suggestion is to come up with your own product that reveals the remarkable secrets about bass fishing in your area, and you will have a winner!

Thanks Jared, I'm beginning to think you are right, but I don't want to give up too soon. Just got the #10/#11 position in Google for "Bass Fishing" but the big boys dominate the top 5. I think the traffic for "Bass Fishing" is about 10X that of my current top rankings. Anyone else with any other ideas?
