Newbie question about writing reviews for Affiliate Products

Hello can anyone give me a good template on writing reviews for Affiliate products.

Another words I want to start writing reviews that will convert. I know that issues will be being believable or to subective. I have the products I want to review.

Can someone outline indetail how to write a review. The steps and what to talk about in each paragraph. How many paragraghs? I am working on some conduit and REGULAR single product reviews.

Or point me in the direction where I can get a good template.

OK, don't think that everything is a template that you need to copy/paste... this will get you nowhere...

posting duplicate content is the biggest no-no for search engine results.

If you want to write a good review for an affiliate product that you want to promote... here is the key:

Purchase the product you want to promote

    Do an HONEST Evaluation

    Write your OWN review

This is the best way to promote affilate products... don't look for a template to do this for you, because all you will find is duplicate content that the search engines will de-index right quick.

I agree with Jared on buyimg the product and then giving your honest review.

You can actually use a template but make sure you rewrite it using your style.

You can start your review by addressing a problem that people reading your review might have.

Then, tell them that you have been a similar situation and how you manage to solve the problem using the product.

Remember to focus on the benefits. If you are in the IM niche, you should offer an exclusive bonus so that they will buy from you.

    Just my thoughts.

I agree. You should add in some sort of personal story so that people can relate to you and build trust.

I'd give an objective review that covers the pros and cons, because no product is perfect. When you cover the cons as well, it'll increase the incredibility of the review.

Of course, you'd be only recommending a product where pros outweigh the cons, and not the other way around. Don't promote crap products, because once you do, you're limiting your long-term revenue. It's also about branding your credibility as an internet marketer.

Go do some research and find review pages. Then create a "portfolio"
of all the headlines, phrases, words, etc that grab your attention
        and that you really like.

This will help you when you're writing your own reviews of products.
It will really help get your creative juices flowing whenever
you have to write a review.

Also, make sure your reviews have 2 things: Benefits and Believability.

If you focus on these 2 things, your reviews will come together
        quite nicely.

Make sure you don't just say "this is the best! buy it now!"
or anything similar. Write your reviews as if you are a real
user and tried the product. This will make your review come across
as real rather than just another affiliate promoting the product.

On that note, if you can, it's always best to actually try out
a product you're going to review. But with that said, who has
time to try every single product!

I write tons of review pages of products that I have never tried
        at all.

A good, objective review will get you so much further than a simple "...this product is awesome" review.

Bring up good and bad points about the product you are reviewing. Bad points can be trivial things such as "...the file took a long time to download due to the size of it". (Only use this example if the file size is genuinely large and takes a while to save to your computer. These trivial negative aspects should still be true).

Not only is that bad point a totally trivial thing, it can also be seen as being a positive aspect of the product. If the file size is large, it may be seen as being value for money.

As has been said before in the replies, there are no real templates for proven money-making reviews. Just try to honestly convey why you recommend the product and you're almost there.

    Hope this helps

Wow thanks for this info guys. But what do you think about reviewing just one product. How can I do this successfully and not seem like I am being subective for the sale. Which of course could help me lose sales.

As stated above, and I have this worked into my software, first you point out some flaws and then later in your review, you point out if the product overcomes these matters.

I created the software with specific questions that help you to create a review that doesn't come across as biased.

However that said, don't be afraid to put your passion into your writing if you really like the product. You can mention flaws and still give a good review.

I keep my reviews to about 600 words total.

    Three basic chunks:

Here's what the product says it will do.
Here is what you get for your money.
Here is what I think about the product's ability to do what it promises.

It's really that simple. See my sig for more.
