Question on backlinking strategy

Hi all,
I need help with my backlinking strategy.
Here is what I plan to do.
You can see what I am trying to do here: THE Backlinking Strategy That Works

Here is my strategy.

1. Write an original article for my niche blog

2. Create/spin articles that I submit to Ezine and new blogs with one article that I create that has keyword anchor text that points back to my niche blog

3. Spin articles that I mass submit to other article directories that point back to my Ezine articles and new blogs

The premise is not to raise a flag with Google by mass article submission and strengthen my link juice at the same time.

My Question
The question I have is that when I mass submit articles to directories that don't point directly back to my niche site, should I use my keywords? would this cause these articles to pop up in the search engines at a higher rank than my original niche site?

Thank you

If you use the very same keywords, it would be an issue if the intermediate page has better SEO and more links, because PR juice dries up at each step by a certain decay factor. So, it would be better IMHO if you use two different sets of keywords.

Also, it depends on whether the intermediate page has higher authority than your own site/page. So, avoid having very few such intermediate pages to reduce the links density for them, while keeping the links to your site intact.

      indihow,
Thank you for your reply. That clears things up. Separate keywords makes sense. I also had no idea that link juice would become less potent with each step--although that makes sense. I will probably decide to go with a different strategy that involves higher quality links.
