Timeline To Big Clickbank Launches?

Hello. I'm on the verge of starting to create and market my own IM products but I'm interested to hear about people's experiences regarding the timeline from 0 products launched to - potentially big clickbank IM product launches.

I've kept an eye on the market for a while and check out JV notifypro to see what other marketers are offering in terms of cash prizes and reasons for the big boys to promote their courses. Is it realistic to think that someone could upload details of their first ever product (mine would be high quality and work in the real world as it works v well for me at the moment) onto JV notifypro with a really big affiliate prize pool and expect a lot of the big guru's to start promoting it? I would by then of course have tested it and gotten hold of the epc results etc.

To me it seems like whoever has a big prize pool and a product that has resulted in high epc's during testing gets a lot of support, whether they are a well known marketer or not. Is this a realistic assumption or is there a definitive 'career path' of sorts whereby you get known a bit in the industry and then move onto the bigger CB launches?
