Hi Guy

I found something strange about google search, why on earth google not allow intitle search for keyword "design". Keywords like affordable web design, brochure design, flash website design lead me to error page. Google error message as below.

Anyone had the same problem? Any other way to search keyword on title?

For who not sure what is intitle search, it is search on the keywords in the title of the webpage example as below
intitle:"dog training" you will get all the result which consist of "dog training" keyword in the title only.

Thanks
Simon

This happens to me all the time when I'm doing keyword research. But it usually asks me to put in a Captcha code, and THEN gives me the message that they will restore it 'soon.'

It only happens to me in Firefox, so when I does, I just switch over to IE and continue with my research and all is fine.

Within a little while, I can go back to FF.

I know it's a pain, but it's been the simplest solution for me so far.

      Hi Marcus

Thanks for the tip but i guess mine is difference case, if you type in exact keyword as below

      intitle:"web design"

to google search box then you will get the error message, this happen for many week, each time i type keyword with design, it will lead me to Google error. if i refresh my IP or change IP it was still the same error. Even I asked friend of mine to try in out in Hong Kong and Malaysia but both countries have the same error. Not sure why. Does it happen to u? or anyone?

      Thanks

    Simon,

Same thing happens to me when I do that search, but if I search for something different such as intitle:"recipes" it is fine. I can only guess they must have detected a lot of automated requests in the design area.

Like Marcus, I have experienced the captcha code but it doesn't seem to come up for these intitle searches.

Yes so far other keywords i do not encounter the Google error message just that this particular keyword with "design" example
      intitle:"web design"
      intitle:"affordable web design"
      intitle:"brochure design"
      intitle:"flash website design"

i think any keyword with "design" and search with intitle will have this error. I am just wondering why such big word like "design" will have this problem. How to do keyword research on those keyword then? hmm..

Since your are from Australia and have the same problem and i tested from Malaysia and Hong Kong , i guess it happen to the whole World Wide Web.

        Hi Ebbi

Since you are using Google Chrome, could you try to search those keywords and see if it is working?

        intitle:"affordable web design"
        intitle:"brochure design"
        intitle:"flash website design"

        Thanks

Why...why did you make me search this!

I just got my first error using Google Chrome all thanks to you!

I'm guessing Google is limiting access to all the keyword tools
that use Google without their permission. This is Google 101

I suggest using Google Chrome when using the Google search
engine! It's much faster and I haven't had any problems what
    so ever.

Also just use Google Chrome for the speed! Most of use spend
hours online browsing sites so speed is a major factor!
Also Gmail works much better on Google Chrome.

That's strange. I get the same error response. You'd think they wouldn't block this so universally. You'd think they'd give a captcha response. Oh, well ...

I think Google may be having some server problems today. I have gotten several error messages today say" Google can't access my mail - try again later".
