    I'm curious to hear about additional online marketing and social networking promotional methods one can employ in their daily efforts to rise in search engine positioning. what else would you recommend, besides traditional article marketing, social bookmarking, RSS, and forum postings?

    As far as social marketing goes, Facebook and Twitter are two of the largest sites to use. Don't get stuck with the mentality of quantity over quality tho. You'd rather have 100 quality, targeted friends and followers compared to 1000 random and spam friends and followers. Post often with quality posts and tweets and have actual conversations, you'll see your conversions sky rocket instead of just spamming like most people.
