Squeeze Page/Opt-in then directed to Affiliate Promotion...How?

Question:

Say I'm trying to promote a CB product while trying to build a viable list at the same time. Method of promotion is Article Marketing. In my article I am promoting XYZ product. I direct visitor/potential buyer to my optin page to build my personal list.

After this point, what is the most effective way to direct visitor to CB product?

    I think this is what you are asking?....

    1 - create a squeeze page and collect email addresses - give them something free and mention a special deal to something else they'll really like
    2 - send them directly to the cb product page with your affiliate link.
    3 - follow-up via email autoresponder to see if they had checked out the special offer you sent and give them some more info about it, plus your aff. link again

      Yes that is exactly what Im asking & thank you for responding.

      After I complete step 1. as you have stated how do I transition to step 2? Does the sqeeze page automatically redirects the visitor after getting their email?

        In your autoresponder you can set the link to the page you want to send people once they confirm their optin to your list. You can also set up your first email to promote the exact same product for a double whammy.

        This method actually made me quite a bit of money a good few years ago until I moved onto pastures new. What I found was;

        1. You need to offer something of extreme value to get them to sign up.
        2. Your affiliate promotion must be a very close match to what they signed up for. (Ex... sign up for PPC course and you promote them article marketing aff product)

        Simple really.

        There is usually provision with the autoresponder service to redirect the new subscriber to another page. This can be your CB sales page, using your Clickbank link.

        Another approach is to have the redirection take them to a confirmation page, which has some extra details about remembering to confirm their email address. This page can also contain a product presell (softsell) which raises their curiosity and invites them to click on the next link for more details. They are then taken to the Clickbank sales page.

    Yes, you just set the thank you page (the location that new subscribers are directed to after opting in) as the link you want them to go to. This is easily done in most autoresponder software.

    Here's how I do it.

    1. On the opt-in list form, set your Clickbank referral
    link as the 'redirect' page to which a subscriber is taken
    when they submit the form

    2. If you use double opt-in, on the page the subscriber
    lands after they click on the confirmation link in the
    email, have a banner or text link with your CB link

    3. In the first email that goes out to a confirmed opt-in
    subscriber, have a short blurb about the CB product with
    an affiliate link

    4. In every subsequent email, have the CB link in your
    signature, and maybe even mention it in the content

    5. If you give away a freebie (report, article, PDF, or
    other), have it coded with your CB link somewhere

    6. If you direct subscribers to a download page to pick
    up their freebie, have a link to the CB product on that
    page too, with a compelling text link or banner

    7. On the opt-in page, see if you can code an exit-pop
    (for those who won't fill in your email sign up form)
    which either automatically directs the visitor to your
    CB link, or throws up a compelling web page that gets them
    to click through there. (Note: Doing this may be in
    violation of ToS of certain paid traffic services, so
    check)
