How to put adsense in blog post?

Hello there warriors. Recently I just exported my blogger blog to wordpress. I got like 40 posts and I want to insert adsense codes in them. Is there a way that I can add them automatically? Like a plugin or something? Plus only 3 ads blocks can be placed in one page. So I was wondering how I would counter that problem when I have categories with more than 3 posts. Need help warriors, thanks!

There are lots of plugins that add adsense , just go to plugins -> new=> search and type in adsense.

Or you can just edit the theme and permanently add your code.

Why don't you take the code from your competitor's site?

this is an excellent plugin that will deploy your adsense above post, below it, above title, below it and so on; unfortunately, it's not able to put it inside a post; but for that, there's a piece of code.. are you afraid of code ?

yes, John.. that's what I meant.. but that's coding to some extent.. I mean.. identifying the exact spot to deploy it and adding some div with an alignment out there is pretty challenging for a newbie, let's admit it..

Oh boy, I know I'll take heat for this, but, if you are treating your blog like a business, I would strongly reconsider using adsense. Adsense has its place, but, look at the blogs of some of the highest ranked and influential bloggers. They don't use adsense for a reason.

I'd leave that for the Web 2.0 rev sharing sites.

For one's own blog, that they hope to become a business, there are just much better ways to monetize than with Adsense.

I see these as two entirely different things.

The Adsense revenue share is just a small portion, but, rather, the more important benefit is the inherent search engine authority gained from using a Web 2.0 site. Adsense is a given on these sites because that's just simply how their owners choose to monetize it, in conjunction with other monetization methods.

The pre-established authority of those sites make them very valuable.

The thing is, on blogs, I see them more as an extension of yourself for personal branding and development of thought leadership.

Few high ranked blogs will even consider touching adsense. That's not opinion...that's really what is happening. Instead, effective use of a subtle resources page, governed by high transparent behavior, I believe, is where the internet is heading.

Also, when a blogger uses like Adsense, like Pat had mentioned previously, it essentially drives people away from YOU for a mere pittance return.

The reason you can only put 3 adsense blocks is because by adsense TOS, you can only have 3 per page of the same type of ad. Any more will just be ignored.

Also, for those who use adsense plugins, alot of them secretly hide their adsense code into your site so they steal clicks, just an FYI! I hope you're going through all the code to delete their adsense pub.

    Hi,

You can either use plugins or you can add the code generated by Google and paste it on some areas of your blog (sidebar, top, bottom, post).

    Here's one reference:

WordPress - add Adsense to your blog

@The issue of using adsense as monetization strategy

Well I guess if you have an authority site with hundreds of thousands of visitors
per month or per day, adsense is a viable monetization strategy. One example is EzineArticles.com, Chris used Adsense as the monetization strategy for it.

However, for those who are just beginning to establish themselves, I recommend also going for affiliate offers.
