Marketing For Listbuilding And/Or Backlinks

Happy New Year Fellow Warriors:

Would like your opinions on something. I am working on releasing my first e-book.

My question is - should my marketing (e.g article marketing) be more focused on linking to my squeeze page for listbuilding or to my sales page for back-links or perhaps it should be both?

Interesting question which I'm sure will get a few different responses.
I guess it depends on your goals. Do you want to sell to your audience later down the line? If so then I guess you send them to the squeeze and sell them your e-book later.
If not, then send them right to the sales page. It really is a tough call that only you can answer.

Depends on your goals really, if your looking for sales or possible long term
sales. If I were looking for just straight sales i'd link to the sales page but if
I wanted to have long term sales, possibly more than one sale per customer,
I'd link to the list, atleast that way aslong as their there you can mail them
      at any time.

But thats what i'd do if it were my choice, its down to what you prefer at the
      end of the day.

You can build links to your squeeze page, and its easier to rank if you are using wordpress because they are seo friendly. A faster way would be building links to your articles since they already hold high authority.

You really need to ask yourself what the chances are for your sales page to rank for your given keywords simply from article marketing. If you're in a highly competitive niche, then you're better off using article marketing to build your list, and then promote your sales page to that list.
