Wordpres Plug-in: Am I all set-up?

I have a number of plug-ins activated on my blog for Wordpress. I have "clean-contact, all-in-one seo, google anaytics for wordpress, google xml sitemaps, and 3waylinks"

i watched instructional videos on how to properly set them up and i feel like they are up and running as intended. but my concern is on my wordpress left sidebar under "plug-ins". there is a grey box with the #1 inside. shown below:

should i be concerned that the rest of my plug-in's aren't listed here as well?

    Just check your installed plugins and just make sure they are all activated and you have the latest versrions.

    They are probably installed anyway. Only some plugins will show up in that menu.

      Correct, the rest will show up under the settings tab

    The "1" that you see is telling you that one of your plugins needs to be updated. Look for "Updates" on the menu right below "Dashboard"

    If you want to make sure your plugins are activated then click on "plugins" on the menu and review your plugin list. If there is a link to deactivate the plugin below the name, then you know that it is active. Not all plugins will show up on the menu's on the left. Most will, but not under the plugins menu. They usually create their own menu or a link under the settings menu.
