    Massive amounts of backlinks from articles and videos. Write 5 articles a day, submit them to EZA, goarticles, and article dashboard (assuming you don't want them on your site, but I think you should have them on your site); then turn one into a video and submit it using tubemogul. You'll be fine in a week :-)

    I think your problem is two-fold. It's hard to run a successful website without a little bit of seo knowledge, and it's even harder to do it on a shoe string budget. I would seriously recommend taking advantage of Warrior Forum to help bring you up to speed.

    This place has hundreds of posts on every Internet Marketing topic possible.

    As for your website... Sean's answered that better than I could.

    It can be done. The real question is can you do it?

    But the question is more than that, really...

    We can show you how, but will you do what is necessary to make it work for you?

    Your site needs links to it, to prove to Google that it is worth showing in their search results, even with your exact domain name.

    And we are not talking about rented links that are here today and gone next week or next month.

    You need permanent links to your website.

    And the best ways to do that are the four pillars on link building: article marketing, press releases, forum marketing, and social media.

    I have read a few blogs today on link building. All of them so far recommend article marketing as a means to build a good permanent link to your site. Now, may I take this one step further and recommend Squidoo, Hubpages, and Infobarrel.

    Using your article marketing with these 3 pages you can monetize your article and create extra streams of income. At the same time build good solid links to your page.

      Those three sites are fine, and they are just a part of the bigger picture.

      I have never posted articles on any of these sites. I am always slow to RELY on third-party websites for my promotion.

      Don't get me wrong, I do rely on third-parties to publish my articles, but anything like the three aforementioned sites, blogger, wordpress.com, EzineArticles, etc. will only support you as long as they want to do so.

      Never ever put all of your eggs in too few baskets, especially when you are doing link building.

      While it is hard to rank without having a lot of content on your website, it is not impossible.

      I’ve been out ranked by many websites that did not have the fraction of content that my website had.

      That being said, I believe that what you are trying to find out is how to get more traffic to your website without spending a lot of money.

      Google is still the king of traffic. If you can rank near the top of a search on Google, then you can potentially get millions of views each day. To rank near the top of Google will take some time and work though. The best way is to get as much backlinks as possible.

      There are a lot of different ways to get backlinks: guest posting, blog commenting, forum posting, etc. The most important thing is that you get as many as possible from websites that are related to your niche.

      The great thing about trying to rank up in Google is that you usually will rank up in other search engines such as Yahoo and Bing.

      Another way to get traffic would be to submit articles to article directories.

      It does not bring in as much traffic as search engines, but it will help you.

      The great thing about article directories is that the article can be reposted on other blogs or websites and will link back to you as the original source.

      Those are just two examples of simple ways to get more traffic to your website.

      The most important thing is that you find something that works really well for you and that you stick with it.

      Don’t except to get thousands of people visiting your site the next day.

      Patience is a very important thing to have when marketing a website.

    Install a wordpress blog in a sub-folder and name the folder after a medium to low competition keyword with some decent daily searches.

    Then optimize that page with keyword in h1, h2, h3, alt tags, and in opening & closing sentences, etc.

    Then, build links to the blog using anchor text:

    <a href="www.my-site.com/my-killer-keyword/>MY KILLER KEYWORD</a>

    I prefer blogs in the root of my domains, but this should work fine...

    Wordpress blogs are really the way to go. You can use the seo plugin and put all of your keywords into your pages/posts.

    I know you love your site, but I would think of it this way, many people have many niches/sites that they own. This is a business where you put all of your eggs into different baskets.

    My advice for you would be to:
    1 - learn the business of IM (personally, I follow Tiffany Dow for IM stuff, and Tim Gorman for article research, etc.)
    2 - Do keyword research to find your next niche, and find a product to be an affiliate for.
    3 - Get a hostgator account
    4 - Get a domain name with your main keywords in it
    5 - start writing articles with your keywords in them
    6 - place the articles on your wordpress blog and wait a day or two before posting that article to EZA.

    If you have been at this very long you are probably on a lot of email lists by now of people trying to sell you their IM produucts. NOthing wrong with that but if you are as ADD as I am it is easy to end up chasing rabbits and never catch one, they all look good. Try to find a good program that will teach you a methodical method of Market research & SEO. Just try to find someone who is actually applying what they are teaching. Unless you love writing articles you may find that it takes a big effort, if you have the resources look into some of the article writing services like "Leading articles" or spun articles, this can save you a lot of time. For me writing content takes a lot of time because I don't put out crap. There are some good sources out there if you can pay for it, and you can use article distribution services like " Link Juicer", it can save you a lot of time.
