Tracking Software....

Hey all,

Happy 2011 to everyone!

I'm looking for good tracking software to do a/b split testing as well as simple link tracking.

I've been using a pice of software the is a bit dated and not the most user friendly.

    Have you tried google analystics? If I'm not mistaken I think you can see which links are clicked on and where your traffic comes from? Never actually tried split testing myself though, but I do use google analytics on all my sites.

    I do have google analytics on my site. It's more for page views etc. I don't think there's a function that enables you to create a tracking link.

    Does anyone have any software out there that you're happy with? I just need to simply track the clicks of links.

    Hey Brandon... happy new year, dude.

    For A/B split testing, just get a url rotator script. You can find
    tons on google that are free.

    Install the script. To test, bring up your page/site and hit refresh.
    Each one should display A or B.

    That will not track your clicks. So you need a separate tracking
    script. There are tons available. Simple to fancy; free to paid.

    So maybe just search in google and find one that is friendly to use.

    I am not sure if these fits your needs or not, as I am not 100% sure on what you are looking for. Anyways, I use this to track all of my cpa type stuff and any affiliate offers that I might run. It is 100% free and really easy to set up and split test different campaigns with.
