Would you send an email to your list on 1st December?

Hey,

I was thinking today whether or not to send out an email promo next monday (1st December) and im edging towards sending a couple of days later.

I'm just assuming that there will be hundreds of people and companies sending emails out on that day seeing as its the 1st day of the Christmas month.

Or what if they all have my idea and send 2 days later (!!)

What do you think?

  • Based on my extensive research on the 'best day' to send out an email, the definite winner is 'Tuesday' that gets the best response.

    So, if I were you, I would send your promotion ONE day later...

    Just my opinions/conclusions on the research I have read on the subject...

  • Yes I have also done some research on the best day... however even though I tend to do promos mid week, I don't think it matters TOO much as if everyone sent out on Tuesdaym then it kind of defeats the whole point eh?

    But yes, I was thinking either Tuesday or Wednesday to send out promo. I already have the 5th marked down for another promo.

    Either way, I think Decembers going to be jam packed with email promos!
