Quick Question Re: Facebook comment plug-in - can Google "see" this activity?
Most of you will know what I'm on about here - the excellent bit of trickery that lets bloggers / webmasters use Facebook to have people comment on articles on their actual site. Great for at least 2 reasons: no need for users to sign up just to comment, 100x less likelyto post spam or abuse as they're posting as the real them.
However I read last summer that one of the big factors Google looks at when it ranks a site/page is "activity" i.e. userinteraction... i.e comments.
And since Facebook plugins like this comment functionality appear to be iframed, it begs the question whether Google would recognise this user activity at all if it's all actually going down on FB rather than on the spider-readable site's own page itself.
I've tried looking for answers on this but no luck, can anyone give any insight please?
