How Much Would You Pay For This Website ?

I built this website for a friend of mine..I didn't make a whole lot of money and put in quite a bit of work...I like to do a good job and I was dam happy to make some money !

I Still Got some work to do still yet..I also did a facebook fan page along with it to..The really kool thing is these blogs are tied to facebook comments and the like button is placed nicely under the post and pages...

These blogs are quite contempary, look great and very effective on a local level and leveraged with Facebook..

I could spend many hours SEO just the blog , I did permalinks , catergories and added some content.. I also did 5 tutorials bring them up to speed enough to change the content..

My Question is this What would your judgment be of the value of something might be like this ?

Also any ideas you might can give me for how and where to best start promoting some kinda package built off this website structure..

Oh By the Way , I got $200 dollars for this...

    Stephen,

Firstly it looks like this is a duplicate thread - could you get the other one removed?

Secondly where is the link to the site? All I can see is a link to the site you did sell for $200. In which case I'd say $200 is what it is worth.

The only comment I can make is that the $200 site makes a good portfolio addition. You could show this to offline clients as an example of your work and that you can provide an search engine optimized website looking similar to this for $XXX. That way you can be paid in advance (or at least have a written order) for your work.

Before I became successful online, I looked at getting a website created
for an offline business/idea I had at the time and the quotes I got from
web design companies/businesses ranged from $500 (1-2 pages) all the
way upto $2,000 (5 pr more pages).

So because your site creation has more than 5 pages
and looks very professional, I would say you could have
sold it for alot more than you did.

I agree with Mason, you may have underpriced your website at $200 since it has well over 5 pages, and you've designed a nice graphic header and even implemented a blog page on the site.

I'd price a 5 page website around the $500 mark, and charge extra for any backlinking or SEO services that you perform on it.

Definitely WAY LESS than 200! Don't take it personal but I'm being honest. I wouldn't pay for that. It looks like the default template when you 1st install WordPress on your own hosting account.

I'm with simplebutcreative, a complete newbie can create a website like that very quickly.

      The graphic is nice though.

You got lucky with your $200.00

I would not use that website as part of my portfolio.

Edit: Ok not a complete newbie but someone with at least a basic understanding of design and Wordpress.

I'd be happy with $200 myself, but it depends on how interested the buyer is. I could see it going for around $300 even

Yeah $200 seems to much for this site(you can use templates and create the same site for under $20), you got lucky with it. Also as other members mention before me, I would not include this site in my portfolio.
