Are WordPress alt and title tags considered keyword spamming?

I recently built a new WordPress site as mentioned in the following post:

Part of my solution to that problem was removing the title and alt tags from some of the images on the page.

Just for one image with a link in a table I had:
title tag for the image
alt tag for the image
title for the link
caption for the image

When I looked at the html it looked like I was keyword stuffing because of the descriptions in all of the tags I just listed. I removed all of them except the captions because that is the only thing the readers see.

Does anyone know if Google considers all the tags keyword spamming?

    Except that when they hover over a link or an image, most browsers display the title attribute.

    What about your visitors who don't see?

    If you think it appears that you're keyword-stuffing, change what you put in the attributes (they're not tags, btw).
