What software do you need?

Hi...

I really LOVE to code and write software... It's one of these things that I can get completely lost into.

When I code I forget all about time and space... Love it

My question to you guys is, what do you need?
What's missing?

If there were no limitations, what would make a noticeable difference in your daily life?

    SEOQuake used to have an awesome rankchecker. Where you put in the URL and it told you what you ranked for and the volume. A larger scale version of that would be awesome.

    If you need ideas - just improve on what is already selling well. I suggest that you don't ask what people need. Instead ask - how can I make what you already have better?

    There are some simple ideas that have been very successful. I am thinking particularly of the customisable Wordpress themes and such like. OK a lot of work goes into developing them but they must sell by the thousands. This idea is just a twist on having a static theme but having a lot of options to make it look the way you need.

    Also anything that doesnt involve installing another zillion gigabytes of the latest .NET framework.

    Have a look at the freelance forums, see if you can find any thing that people commonly request and create its as a desktop or web based application.
