putting an article wso together

Hi guys

Just wondering

I am thinking of putting a wso together with 10 original articles for $20

I would like to know what your thoughts on this are? Is the price too high? would people pay $2 per article?

It is just an idea i have had to get some money together.

And just to get an idea how many should i limit it to?

Never done a WSO so i thought i would ask for some feedback and to see if there is any demand out there.

Thank You

ps

Any other feedback would be appreciated

You can also pm me

Thank you

I think you are selling yourself short for $2 an article, but I think you would definitely get a lot of business!

You could also try the Warriors for Hire forum. Be sure to have samples available for people to see.

      Good luck!

Article wso's sell ok but not great from what I've seen. Of course, if you manage to develop a very attractive offer you should have success with it. For example, 10 articles selling for $20 might do ok if you limit it to let's say 10 packs.

So you make a profit of $180 on 10 articles which is pretty good considering you can pay a freelancer on GAF about $40 - $50 for 10 articles.

To make sure all your packages sell however, I would include 10 bonus articles for like the first 5 buyers or something like that so that you create a little sense of urgency.

You can probably earn more on articles by doing a wso than gostwriting them for someone, but still, the earnings aren't that big - just some extra cash for you when you need it which is still great

It really depends on the niche.

$20 for 10 gardening articles might be a stretch. $20 for 10 Forex articles might be more accurate.

Pick a hot niche and you should be fine.

Trouble is your articles are worth a lot more, but in reality you'll find people may not buy them because of "the lets sell them cheap" mentality in the WSO forum from a lot of others who sell their articles for far too little.

Many folks visiting the wso forum expect to pay cents for well written articles because that's what they have become used to paying, and to be honest who can blame them when sellers drastically underprice themselves continously

Are we talking about selling these 10 articles as a PLR or unique to each person?

If you are saying you will write unique articles for $2 each then it is too low.

If you are saying you will sell 10 PLR articles for $20 then your price might be too high.

Oops! I read the OP and saw "original articles" and thought he meant written for a client, not PLR.

      My bad.

I was just going to reply but Bev said what I was going to say.

Are you talking about PLR articles or original sets that you only sell to one person.

If you have a pack of 10 articles are you going to sell that same pack to many people? Then $2 per article is too high.

If you have a pack of 10 articles and will only sell one original pack to one person $2 an article is way too low. (Unless it's jibberish)

Like what Bev and Annoygirl are saying, if you're selling that pack of articles to one person only then $20 is way undercutting yourself. If it's PLR where you'll be selling 10-50 packs then $20 might be a little too costly.

I've seen people selling article packs of 10 for $10 that they personally wrote themselves, they've provided written samples of their work. If they are prolific authors or have platinum status on ezinearticles, they mention that too. They were articles that were of interest such as credit crunching, debt consolidation, how to save on your homeowners insurance which is fitting due to the current economic times. You might want to try writing some Christmas type articles, these seem to be going well, although I can't personally verify that myself. Just from comments I've read, it seems some Warriors are interested in that type of content to sell Christmas stuff and if they have membership sites, pass that onto their subscribers.

I think selling articles is good to start with, but you should make it a little more enticing further down the track with finding a hot niche and creating a mini site template, graphics, targeted article pack and PLR product to go with it, that way you can charge more and it has a higher perceived value. Last but not least, search through the WSO forum. See what's getting lots of views and garnering lots of interest, that's a great way to gauge what people will be willing to buy.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
