Having trouble getting customers for your webdesign business?

Hi,

I have not yet went in to doing offline marketing, but there are really alot of great ways to do this in the Offline marketing section of this forum!

I will give me feedback to how I am going to manage doing that later.

However, I wanted to through in a few tips to the new guys in this business, who has trouble getting customers.

It's quite easy to be honest, and this method has proven to really attract alot of interest in my business.

First - Find an online forum for business-owners. Warriorforum is one, but in my experience this works great with whatever you can find in your local area.

Make an advert selling cheap logos. You can even do a google adwords campaign for "cheap logos" - In my country/language, I am currently not giving more than 8cent per click!

I am offering logos at the low price of $29,95 - Well made logos, with endless revisions until the customer is happy. Surely this may take alot of time, and effort from your side, but at least you will start getting some revenue in.

My best streak was in 2-3days, I managed to book 20 jobs for $29,95 logos! That's solid $600! Average time spent on each logo might have been 1 hour. I worked hard for the next week, but the work paid off!

5 of the clients I had almost immediately ordered a second logo, or a banner etc. and I just kept the price low like the first one. It didnt take me more than 1 week before I started getting refferals from my customers.

From the 20 logo-jobs, I booked 3 complete websites, 1 brochure, 4 header-banners and the work just keeps on coming in.

In my first month of doing this I managed to book in around $3.000 (both cheap websites, logos and other graphics) and now the work is coming in at a steady pace.

From 0 - $3,000 in one month, using nothing more than a laptop and my creative mind. Doing cheap work in the beginning of a start-up phase can definitely pay off in the long run!

Good luck to all of you!

Thanks for posting this. Offline marketing is super powerful especially in the website design area.
I also design sites and offer people cheap fast start up packages. It sells great for affiliate marketers, MLM users, and people getting started online who don't have a clue about having a site.

Cool Post, I have just started offline marketing and have had a great response so far. To be honest I didn't realize how powerful it can be as I carried out all my marketing online and I have done very well. Offline Marketing is just another avenue that is great to promote any business.

      Hi Suzy,

What kind of offline marketing have you been doing? Cold-calling business-owners?
