What are some good affiliate websites or companies to work with

I am new to this online marketing thing. I am looking into affiliate websites. Which ones have you used and what kind of success have you had.

    Amazon pays a lot less than Clickbank but the refund rate is a lot lower and conversion rate a lot higher.
    If you want long term income go for Amazon.

      When you have gotten some experience with Clickbank and amazon and at least have your own web real estate- take a look at
      CPA Affiliate Network: Adscend Media

      The affiliate manager support is amazing and they have a lot of
      consumer type pay per lead.

        A new affiliate network that's been out for about a year is RapBank.

        They pay exclusively via PayPal. The advantage is that when you make a sale it goes directly into your PayPal account. You don't have to wait a week or a month to get paid.

        Some of the vendors set up the sales in such a way so that you, the affiliate, get 100% commission while he, the vendor, gets commission on back-end sales and upsells.

        That can help you make more money up front, but if someone decides they want a refund, you have to go into your Pay Pal account and return their money. Not that hard to do, really.

        But RapBank is another option for you.
