More traffic from Yahoo and Bing, Less from Google. Whats the deal?

I have a blog its about 3 years old now. I have keep new content on it "not autoblog" allways getting new backlinks, but in the last 6 to 8 months I have noticed that my google traffic has been slowly declining wiile my yahoo and bling traffic has been improving.

Its to the point where yahoo has just caught and passed google in traffic, If yahoo and bling see my blog important enought to give it more traffic why does google seem to see it less important? does'nt make sense to me.

Has any one else had this experience with their blog or site?

Perhaps most of the links are nofollow, which doesn't seem to affect Yahoo and Bing bots.

It is rather easier to rank well on Bing or Yahoo than on Google, and I know that from personal experience.

That's quite surprising, I would assume right off that something doesnt agreee with Google standards, I'm more accustomed to hear about getting more initial traffic from bing on a new site.

No surprises in the keywords bring visitors?

A few surprises in keywords that I never expected but nothing competly out of the line with the subject of the blog, but I get more traffic from Google.uk than just google. and most of my links are from articles on "dofollow" directories

Interesting. I've always had much more traffic from Google than either Yahoo or Bing. I do my best to keep my links very white hat.

You may want to try building more high-authority links to add some link diversity. Just a guess.

It may be possible that you have been penalized by google, it happened to me, i was in the first page for some keywords and now i am right in the 8 th page and going down.

Important question to ask and answer here is this -
which keywords and where are you ranking tops in
Google? Without rankings for keywords, there won't
be traffic from the search engines.

Clearly you are ranking tops in Google and Bing
but not with Google, for your targeted keywords.
This happens a lot. It happened to me for HUNDREDS
of domain names - ranked top 5 in yahoo and bing
and receiving visitors (sadly not that many) but
not ranked top 100 in Google.

So, the first thing to do is to check out those
keywords of yours that are ranked in yahoo and bing
and see where they are ranked in Google. If they
are ranked within the 1,000 results, then it's not
a penalty. What this will mean is that - either you
haven't done "enough" backlinking, in Google's eyes,
or you have done "too much" and so may have been
sandoxed, especially if the domain name is new
and/or your backlinking looked kindof "manipulative"
(many warriors still say the sandbox is a myth but
I know better - from HUNDREDS of sites that lost
    their top 10 rankings).

There are many rank checking tools out there that
are completely free to use. I use Web CEO Rank
Checker. Google it. It's completely free.

    I hope this helps,
