Tag Line In Wordpress
I wasn't sure if this was an seo question or a WP question, but nevertheless I hope someone will be able to help me.
My husband usually handles the SEO, but I have taken it upon myself to do the on page SEO of our latest project. Mainly because I would like to learn.
I am using a program called Web CEO and it is strongly suggesting that I have my tag line before any other...here is the exact advice.
"Your Title tag is not the first tag in the <HEAD> area of your page! Your Title tag should be placed before all other tags, otherwise search engines may overlook it which will significantly damage your rankings."
However, I believe the default for wordpress is to display the name of the blog first, and there is no way to change it in the options.
It's a pretty competitive niche and keywords I am going for, so I would like all the on page SEO to be top notch.
If anyone could tell me how to achieve this feat it would be much appreciated.
