Do you call yourself an entrepreneur?

Last year, I saw many blogs come out from no where... teaching people about making money blogging and not all but most of them call themselves an entrepreneur when their blogs doesn't even get near to an average blogger...

Well... I had never claim to be one because I think I'm not fit enough to be one yet...

So, do you call yourself an entrepreneur or what should be done in order to be called an entrepreneur?

I did like to hear some opinion from you people out there....

I think that you are confusing the term "Entrepreneur" with the term "Guru".

My definition of an entrepreneur is someone who earns money through their own methods (without working for someone else). So I guess yes I am. I don't really think about it much though to be honest.

Hmm... I guess you are right, earning through by own method... but I did see people calling themselves entrepreneur when they are introducing themselves as an affiliate... kinded strange ... still confusing a bit....

entrepreneur can be considered anybody who has their own business, doesn't matter what kind. If you're an affiliate, you have your own business because you're making sales and the money comes to you, you can't get fired from anybody. Everybody has their own definition, but as long as you're the boss, then you're an entrepreneur.

So having own business and doing things own method is entrepreneur but if a guy like me blogging and of course doing my own way of marketing and also giving away content I wrote... but I do not earn much money out of it such as a $50... does that also count as entrepreneur ... or is there a money limit ?

No-one can fire me, so yes.

However, there are some days when I should fire myself, and some days when my boss is a total pr*ck!

      Let's put it this way....

Anyone who is working toward being self-employed, regardless if they are still working as an employee would be considered an "entrepreneur".

But who cares what we call it anyway? Don't need to label it.

      Just get to work.

There is no money involved to be considered an entrepreneur, you can make $1 and still be one. It's all about the mindset, remember it's only a title, anybody can be who they want to be.

True, an entrepreneur can be at various stages of progress, and this is defined more by what you do, and not your earnings. Everyone has to start off somewhere, and typically many entrepreneurs start off broke and may experience very difficult times before finally making that breakthrough.

I call myself an Infopreneur. Someone who run a business selling information products.

Some call it internet marketing, online marketing or homebased business - doesn't matter, i call it infopreneur because it sounded sexy...

Hi bad Blogger, you are wrong here or at least you wanted to mention something else. In general terms anyone who takes an action will be called an "entrepreneur."

Entrepreneur is not only a business related person, a GURU or MASTER, anyone who starts something is one.

So mainly one entrepreneur is the person who took the first step on starting something such a business, service or a blog.

There are so many newbie folks start their blog and offer money tips even before making money themselves, some of them call them GURU, which is in terms is not correct. But if some1 call themselves ENTREPRENEURS then they are not wrong

I see an entrepreneur as someone who makes opportunities for his or her self, and takes advantage of them.

A lot of people have different thoughts on what truly makes someone an entrepreneur. I don't like to call myself one, simply because it makes me feel full of myself. I much prefer it being an observation, rather than everyone going around calling themselves entrepreneurs.

I think most people confuse "self employed" with "entrepreneur." Both are not the same.

I was just about to say that... owning a business and being an entrepreneur are not the same thing.

Richard Branson is, and so is Bill Gates.

Bwaaahaaahaaa... if you make $1 then you're just plain lucky.

You can call yourself whatever you like, but in the end, it's actions... your methods that determine if you are an entrepreneur or not.

Do you invest capital in new ideas?

    Do you take calculated risks?

Or do you just copy successful methods of others?
