enter your paypal account and choose "merchant services" .. from there select the "create a buy now button" option and you'll be taken further from there..

Or if you have a blog, you could use the wp-commerce plugin, it has more features than the simple paypal link.

And you need only one button per product forever. If you change the price later, for example, you don't create a new button. Edit the button you have. Then - this is the good part - you are finished because your site will automatically have the updated information within the old button - on an unlimited number of sites, as well. Editing the button in the paypal merchant services section automatically updates all the 'live' instances of that button you have installed.

      Isn't that just cool beans?

You will also need to have a "thank you page/download page" ready before you create the PayPal order button. When your customers pay you, they will want the get the product right away, and you will want to protect your page from dishonest persons.

Login to Paypal ->Merchant Services->Key Features->Buy Now Buttons->Enter Your Details->Click The Email Tab When Your Finished

When you click the email tab, you get a single URL.

You can use that single url to create a button or hyperlink for people
    to pay you.

Hope thats a good place to get started.

    Take Care,

    Michael Silvester

What kind of Paypal-account do you need to be able to create these order-links and download/thank-you-pages? Premier or a biz-account?

Just create a business account. It does not cost extra and looks better to customers. As mentioned above, there is plenty of information at PayPal on how to create a pay button on your site.

If you are planning more products, you might try getting the free software from SitemanPro that will let you manage multiple products, mutlitple PayPal accounts, Clickbank, product delivery, keep a customer DB with purchase details, keep a product DB with sales details. There are add-ons, but the basic software is free.
SitemanPro makes linking to PayPal using "IPN" very simple. All you need to worry about is your PayPal address.

      Best regards,

      Gren.
