Hey Everyone,

I have a database of over 50,000 contact names, emails, phone numbers, etc. and I have no idea what to do with them.

I know there are ways to take advantage of this to make some decent money, but since I am new to internet marketing and using it to make money, I haven't the first clue where to start...

HELP!

I would really love and appreciate and ideas or suggestions from the experts here at Warrior!

***to clarify

This list is not purchased or downloaded. They are all business professionals as I run my own recruiting business. So the emails are accurate. The niche would be business related. They know my company.

how can I capitalize on this opportunity?

HELP!

Thanks in advance everyone!

Go to that file right click and then press delete.
Why? Because internet is filled with many not working email lists u can get them free, but they are of no value.
If you have made this email list with your own efforts then I assume you already know what you have to do with it.

If you didn't build it yourself, take the above advice and delete it.

being honest with you unless the people know you and wanted the info, it can go wrongly. You're best to generate your own leads of people who want your info and follow you.

Try calling them first and introduce yourself. Offer them something of value free so they look forward to your email. Eg a free report or video/training materials etc

then get them to enter your marketing funnel by receiving your auto responders. This way they'll get your messages and can get in touch if they want more info

    all the best

I formerly ran a recruiting company. All of these contacts are business professionals and all the emails are working.

So deleting is not the route to take

Knowing this, where does one begin?

Hi, if your new to internet marketing I can only assume you ether bought this list or downloaded it, that is against spam laws, plus they wont make you any money because they actually have to be targeted to what your promoting, that list is useless right now, you would be better off pawning it off on someone.

A list of that size is reserved for experienced IMer's giving that it was built naturally.

do you have this list in aweber or icontact, the emails wont be delivered to your entire list if you depend on your ISP...

they are still no good to you unless you find targeted buyers..

I would just delete it, unless you built that list from scratch. Many marketers who have been around for a while will tell you horror stories of spam accusations, etc. It's not pretty. Build your own list and you will be much better off.

    As above delete immediately.

Go back to the site that you bought the list from and see if they have a refund policy?

Chances are they won't, but try and get your money back, if it was paypal it's fairly easy to lodge a chargeback.

I run my own recruiting business. I acquire resumes all the time and all of them have contact info. I have them in a database and can export by emails, phones, etc... All are business related. I send emails to them about job openings in their areas. So i figure there has to be a way to take advantage of this situation.

I did not pay for these. I did not download them. They are all legit.

let me know what you think

Sure there is. It's called SPAMMING.

        Seriously, though...

When you collected this data, was there any agreement on privacy or data sharing? Any promise of confidentiality?

If so, you're pretty much SOL.

If not, you may be able to make some bucks by renting the mailing list to legitimate marketers. Your best bet is to find and contact a reputable list broker and explore the idea.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but where did you get the database from?

    I wouldn't delete it.

    Here is why...

    You had a recruiting company...yes?

Then you could use this to your advantage.

Get a squeeze page setup, then optin form done, then send postcards to the names and addresses you have, then leave them to have a look at your squeeze page.

If they are interested they would subscribe.

Mailing out promotions usually get from 2-4% response.

Still worth it though, then use the marketing funnel.
