The Truth Behind Clickbank Screen Shots

I have come across hundreds of Clickbank screen shots, and I know so many others have, this can be confusing for the new marketers who come along. They believe the amount they see in these screen shots was generated short term, but the TRUTH is this has been generated over, months, or years. The bigger numbers you see has been done over years, the ones right below that has took months up on months. Either way, it takes a lot of hard work, and it's not achieved over night. There is a few ways they do this as well, I want to go over them.

Guru Product Launches- This is where the Guru creates buzz around there product by using viral marketing. This can be done via Facebook, Twitter, SEO Marketing, and numerous ways. The one that brings in the most sales is JV partnership.

Affiliate Marketing- This is where you partner up with companies, and get a commission on the sale you bring to them. You can bring them customers by pre-selling via a website. You then need to drive traffic to this website, this is done by search engine optimization, email marketing, social media marketing, video marketing and a few others. But the sales they show you in the screen shots is either coming from one MONSTER website that they have promoted for a long time, or hundreds of websites they have put up over a long period of time.

Clickbank screen shots are real, they are very real. But when using your common sense, you can realize these screen shots are coming from accounts that has been opened for years, there is no over night fortune, I wish there was, and every one who is human will follow. But the truth is, the sad truth is, you have to work hard to make figures that are huge. This can be achieved with Internet Marketing. Believe me, you can become rich on the internet. So have hope, and never give up. This is key, you have to stay motivated. Learning takes time. Internet Marketing is like any other career, it will take time to learn, and it will take time to to create a life changing income from it.

PS: Clickbank screen shots make me smile, because I know it's possible for me and anyone to make these figures if they just take there time!

  • Some of the screenshots are fake, and have been created by graphic designers.

    • You don't need to be a designer to fake them, I could still create fake proof with paint, with the correct statistic bars related to the numbers. Actually I already have created fake proof before to warn people, and I bet none of you saw the difference (took me 2 hours to create)
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I have also seen HUNREDS of clickbank screenshots. It seems a little strange when I come to a website and they made "50.000$ in just 3 weeks".

I will probably click away from that site.

Why can't people show the real deal instead? It's boring to see that kind of stuff all the time when everybody knows it isn't true anyway.

  • Sad to say, not all Clickbank screen shots are real. There are ways to fake
these today that don't even require Photoshop.

Aside from that, if you're buying a product based on what somebody else
may or may not have made from it, you're making an uninformed purchase.

Somebody else's income has no affect on what you will make with the
product as your skill sets, work ethic, monetary investment and a whole lot
of other factors, are going to be different from the person selling the
    product.

A product should be purchased based on what you feel the product will
do for you assuming you use it properly and put in the time and effort to
    do just that.

Unfortunately, a good number of people don't do that, thus leading to the
rather large failure rate that you read about.

None of it which surprises me in the least.

    • Great warning to the wise. I learned this the hard way a few years ago. Thanks, Charles!

  • Thanks for the informative post guys, keep them coming! And I do indeed know there are plenty of screen shots that are faked. I just like to keep a positive thought, because a lot of noobs believe what they hear. If I go telling them stuff like "oh screen shots are faked" then this shoots a negative impression towards them. There going to think internet marketing is a bunch of bull. Which it's not because there is people who make big figures doing affiliate marketing. It just takes time to build up to these figures.
  • Thanks to Matt for the link regarding falsifying a screenshot without Photoshop. Amazing. The funniest thing is, I never read that stuff on a sales page anyway. It doesn't "speak to me." I look to see what the product does or teaches and how much it costs. I skip right past that stuff. Like another commenter said, it doesn't matter what it says anyway.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • It's ridicilous people still fall into "proof" tricks, instead of falling into one of those tricks, try to fall in love with a product that really speaks to your mind and says: "I am amazing, I look amazing and take me for the usefull benefits".
  • A lot of the so called income shots are fake... from Clickbank, Amazon, etc. Unfortunately, a lot of folks trying to make sales of their ebooks will create fake screen shots and just plain outright lie to make sales of their product.

It's pretty sad that a person will resort to lying and making fake income shots to make the almighty buck.

There are some legit income screen shots... not everyone lies to make a sale. The old saying still goes... if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
