New to everything...advice appreciated

HI there!
My name is Kerri and I am new to the site. I am currently trying desperately to find a work from home opportunity (I just had a baby 3 months ago and also have a 2.5 year old).

I do have an advanced degree (Master's degree in public administration from Penn State) but I am having difficulty navigating the scams and such online.

The one thing I know I can do is write! So, I'm exploring ghostwriting as well as this PLR everyone keeps talking about. I also have a website ( that makes a minimal income through google ads, so I am a bit familiar with the whole search engine writing thing....

Any advice for this new warrior? Greatly appreciated folks!

    Hi Kerry,

I have an advice for you that will probably be a little different than what most internet marketers will tell you.

Since you love to write and I’ll assume that you are pretty good at it since you have a master’s degree, then why not become an SEO expert and write articles for websites as a freelance a writer.

Freelance writing is a very lucrative business because there are millions of people trying to build content based websites, but either has no writing qualifications or simply don’t want to do it.

So if you can establish yourself as an SEO “expert” you can realistically make around $8-12 per article.

    All the best,

    Hi Kerri,

Initially, I think you should follow your passion and if it's in a market where you can sell stuff (services or otherwise) and there are buyers then you'll likely make some money.

You have an interest in writing, cool.

Like Deved says above, consider learning more about freelance writing. Why not consider ghostwriting in niches where you have an interest and where there is a market full of buyers. It's easier writing stuff and sustaining your motivation when you have an interest in - and knowledge of - the subject.

Courses. Well anything by Jenn Dize - look her up here on the Warrior Forum - is worth checking out. As well as being a great writer (she's written stuff for me before that exceeded my expectations) she has great knowledge of the freelancing business AND really wants you to succeed.

    Hope this helps a little.

Welcome to the forum. You can go to the Wanted sub forum of the Products and Services Forum and find plenty of opportunities there for work.

    Good luck,

I can't imagine how anyone in the western world can make a living writing articles (except if it's for the NYTimes or similar), but I know one thing - they do. I know a wall st stock trader who lives in Argentina now writing articles for a living.
