another stupid wordpress question...someone help?

hello mattjay here.

i am using theme mx on one of my sites, first time. the theme did not install a home page tab in the nav bar linking to my root url. but when i publish a post, it shows on my home page/root url, just like i want.

i want that just like it is, but i want to make a tab in my nav bar titled "home" that is my root url where the blog posts show up.

how is this done?

i know it's probably a dumb question but it's beyond me.

thanks

Go into header.php and add after <div id="navigation">, add <a href="http://www.yourwebsite.com/">Home</a>. Would be helpful if i see live your website

that did not work but thanks anyway. any more suggestions? i have run into this problem before but i cannot figure out how to do it from the dashboard.
i'm sure it can be done there, just not sure how. somewhere in the reading/writing settings.

Name your page title home? Set it as a static page? I don't know how that theme works :p

It's not a dumb question, matt

different theme handle navigation differently. sometimes you have to put a code like above suggestion

perhaps I may take a look? or at least spesific url for the theme you used

I can't find mx theme on google

Just had a quick look at the demo video for the theme and . . .

In Theme Admin under "Navigation" there is a facility to exclude or include pages from navigation - check yours to see what it says and edit accordingly?

    The demo also says
    "Epic Customer Support
Got a problem or a question? Our customer service is the best in the industry."

Maybe take them up on - since you have paid for it.
