Have you ever heard the phrase, "If you are not first, you are last"?

If you are not in the top 10 in Google (or top 5), you are not going to get many visits for your main keyword.

Just keep getting backlinks and moving up the rankings. I see that you have a backlink in your signature, which could help a lot

Well, yes i agree, but i have read that if you are not in the first page you loose 60% of the traffic, that means you end up with 40%, meaning almost 40000 visitors monthly.

        Well, you read incorrectly :p

The #1 spot might get around 60% of the traffic. I'm guessing that the first page receives well over 90%+ of the traffic from searches.

And, you are also confusing searches with visitors. Let's assume the information you read was correct. This leaves 38000 searchers onto the 2nd page and beyond. You are on the 6th page. Just because someone searches for a keyword does not mean that they are going to visit YOUR site.

          Good point there.

No, you don't end up with 40%. What it means is, the rest of the traffic (the 40%) is divided under all the results that aren't on the first page. And I don't think that it's even 40%.

Everyone else has given you the right advice.

If you're not on the first page, you might as well be on the 100th... practically no one goes past the first page of search results... they just try a different term.
